COMEDY TOURS

Stewart Lee comedy tour for ‘Carpet Remnant World’

February 8, 2012

Veteran stand-up Stewart Lee will be bringing the lols across the country, when he begins his Carpet Remnant World national tour in February.

Fresh off a successful second series of late night gem, Stewart Lee’s Comedy Vehicle (which garnered double success at the 2011 British Comedy Awards), Mr. Lee will be looking to both repatriate and alienate fans and newcomers alike with his idiosyncratic style and eloquence.

Currently in residence the Leicester Square Theatre in London, Stew has already been receiving excellent reviews (and pissing off The Sun’s critics) for what has been described by The Guardian as: “…marvellously funny: mordant, thoughtful and crafted, even while posing as the ragbag of throwaway scraps its title implies.”

Stewart Lee’s shows have a tendency to be a slow-burning sell out, so you should be able to get some tickets for you and a loved one of your choice (or someone that you really hate and would like to laugh repeatedly in their world-weary face, who knows.)
