The Enemy frontman Tom Clarke wants sausage roll tax rebate

The Enemy’s Tom Clarke has branded the government’s decision to tax hot food as a “pisstake”. The frontman was discussing the new VAT increase – where all hot food sold in any shop will have to charge the 20 per cent sales tax – and revealed his dismay at the financial affect that this will have on his sausage roll diet, while also jokily suggesting a possible tax rebate loophole.

Arctic Monkeys won’t be trying to recreate the sound of their first two albums. Drummer Matt Helders believes that the Sheffield rockers have evolved since their 2006 debut ‘Whatever People Say I Am, That’s What I’m Not’ and follow-up album ‘Favourite Worst Nightmare,’ and have seemingly ruled out attempting to write similar albums.
