Rock legend Chris Cornell has confirmed four huge UK shows for June as part of a soon-to-be-announced European solo tour.
The singer will take his acoustic album ‘Songbook’ on tour this summer to play dates in Manchester, London, Birmingham and Newcastle. Considered to be one of the most iconic voices in rock, Cornell’s shows are expected to include a number of his best works, including hits written for Soundgarden, Audioslave and Temple of the dog.
These shows will commence after Soundgarden’s comeback European tour. The recently reunited band are currently working on their first album since 1996’s ‘Down On The Upside’.
Chris Cornell solo UK tour dates are as follows:
SAT 16 JUNE - MANCHESTER LOWRY
MON 18 JUNE – LONDON PALLADIUM
TUE 19 JUNE – BIRMINGHAM SYMPHONY HALL
WED 20 JUNE - NEWCASTLE CITY HALL
Tickets go on sale at 10am this Friday 24th February.
