The Hammersmith Apollo is a venue that stretches in infamy across the Atlantic Ocean. It is a well-known music, comedy, and theatre venue that commands a certain level of success in order to get on the bill. It is this success that City and Colour have had since his debut album in 2005. City and Colour, the moniker for Canadian singer-songwriter Dallas Green, performed as a five-man troupe, delivering some of the most moving and well-lighted folk music known to date.

Mayday Parade’s ‘Monsters Overseas Tour’ marks their eighth visit to the UK, and accompanied by Divided by Friday, Decade and Man Overboard, The Waterfront was justifiably at capacity. Arriving early enough to the venue proved just how popular this Tallahassee five-piece have become in their nine years as a band, with dedicated fans camping out since 9am to secure spots on the barrier.
