MARK RONSON @ the HMV Institute
Producer/musician/git Mark Ronson is back with a new album, Record Collection (due September via RCA), and hits Birmingham's HMV Institute on 28th September to tour said album.
Joining him on the album are "The Business Intl." who are a collective featuring the largest uncool collection of musicians ever assembled. Featuring D'Angelo, Boy George, Simon Le Bon (Duran Duran), Nick Rhodes (Duran Duran), Alex Greenwald, Nick Hodgson (Kaiser Chiefs), Ghostface, MNDR, The Dap Kings, Spank Rock, Andrew Wyatt (Miike Snow), Rose Ellinor Dougall, Wiley and MC Pill.
However, we literally have no idea if any of these will show up for the actual gigs - but we suspect a couple may probably be 'special guests'. We apologise for being completely unprofessional!
Electric Banana unfortunately had the misfortune to award his last single Bang Bang Bang a 5 out of 5 mark, thus causing our dubious professional reputation to drop and our inbox and mail to be filled with a world record number of swear words, sniggers, insults and threats of physical violence by fanatical anti-Ronson groups.
But we don't care...and we still love that single you know! We won't be bullied. Tickets are available from Friday 30th July.
